The Gap Year Gang Are Happy And Comfortable In King’sPoint

King's Point, Ulladulla

Our hosts and friends were up, the boys both had school, our family were definitely not up. By the time we were all up and dressed it was a bit late to go off for a full day out.

The girls (and Stefan) went off to town, while Basty, Glenn and I were left to chill or do our various tasks at home.

Let’s hear what they got up to first in Sofia’s Words:

Stefan, Sasha, Charlotte, Nicky and I went off for lunch in Milton at ‘Pilgrim’, Stefan was horrified when it turned out to be a vegetarian, Sasha and I however happily ate Wholemeal toastis with cheese, onion and egg.

We wandered through Milton poking through all the shops and boutiques of which there are lots and dam fine they are to.

Stefan actually fell asleep outside of two of the shops that had chairs outside.

Sadly the art gallery was closed so I could not show Sasha the really awesome 3D designs that I had seen last time, might try again on Friday.

We then popped into the supermarket to get the shopping for dinner tonight and tomorrow. We also tried several butchers for looking for Lamb’s hearts to go with the leg of lamb Nicky had, In the end I had to settle for pork for Alan, Chickens and Lambs hearts were nowhere to be found.

I did find Alan some liquorice comforts (torpedoes) in a little sweety shop so he will be happy.

Stefan carried all the shopping back to the car.

We stopped in Ulladulla as Nicky had some Body Shop deliveries and I took back Jack’s Wii game it was a week overdue and we got them another one. Sasha tried on coats but did not find the right one.

While this was going on:-

Glenn at lunch time dragged us out for a drive around the town and then onto a Fish and Chip shop, we got a takeaway and the food was brilliant, lovely white fish, lightly battered, lots of flavor and the best chips. Yummy. When the girls returned we all had a good chat while they prepared a roast dinner.

The food was brilliant and we all had a few to drink!

Nice evening, Sofia was playing Boggle with an ever changing list of competitors, Lockie and Jack both put in an appearance, Lockie was very good and Jack was very imaginative if a bit hit and miss.

Stefan was in heaven with his first proper roast dinner since he left the UK in September, now he is nagging for fish pie.
