A Big Adventure

(this happened on) Saturday 5th December 2009 in Siem Reap, Cambodia

Maybe We Had A Curse Put On Us (lol)

By the time the morning came around neither of us had, had much in the way of sleep,  we were aching, had tempretures and frankly we were not moving far from the bed or the bathroom. So, I  let the boys know that sadly we would not be able to play today and they would have to entertain themselves.

Then I had to let Lee (our driver) know that we were out of action and arranged for him to pick us up tomorrow.

That was pretty much it for the day as Sofia and I spent the day in bed feeling miserable, by evening I was at least feeling able to get up and showered, Sofia on the other hand was going nowhere.

So, I took the boys out for some food, We went to a place called the World Lounge, I was not feeling hungry but ordered a steak sandwich, Stefan ordered spaggetti carbanara as Basty had ordered it yesterday and Stefan said it was so good he knew he would order one today. Basty ordered Chicken amok but did say he would also be ordering a bacon butty once I pointed it out to him on the menu.

Well the food was average at best, Stef’s carbnarra was a shadow of the one Basty had at the Red Piano the night before, Basty however was over the moon with his Bacon Butty.

Afterwards with both Stef and I feeling fragile it was time to  go back to the hotel.

I tried to watch the football (portsmouth vs burnley) but I fell asleep before the end.

Sadly we did not get to enjoy this wonderful place today.
