As a sort of catch up here are reviews of the hotels that we have stayed in so far on the journey. These are our views and as such may should not be taken as comprehensive, before booking any hotel do your own checking, I suggest using http://www.tripadvisor.com/ which we have found to be a very helpful website, also please take your time to add your reviews to Trip Advisor as it helps your fellow travelers.

Radius Inn International, Kuala Lumpur

Look here’s the deal, it’s a big old hotel that is just a few steps away from the main action in KL. it’s sensibly priced and the staff are usually friendly, the pool is fine and it has a spa, restaurants and shops. The TV is pathetic not even having an International news channel and the channels you do have, well they are miserable and with only one or maybe two English language options, not much cop for a so called international hotel.
However to be fair to the hotel, it’s good value and it’s clean. It’s short walk from major malls and it’s surrounded by lots of food options, clubs and bars and really in Kuala Lumpur you only really need a room to sleep and wash in.

There are many cheaper options in the area but some of them look very ropey from the outside, if you take it as what it is a lower quality large hotel well, it’s fine. This is not a luxury option but it’s a reasonable budget option.
