Harry Potter And The Time To Pack

We all head out as today we are going to watch the latest Harry Potter film. We get to the Ward Centre dead on 1:00pm and luckily can walk straight into Screen 9 to watch the film.
It would appear that my failure to read the books is a disadvantage as I am very disappointed when the film seems to end halfway through a story, even though it felt like the longest film ever. Basty also had not read it and was underwhelmed, Sasha and Sofia who have read the books both seem content though, so I guess it’s my problem. Sofia of course cried when Dumbledore died.
During the opening scene of the film Sofia could have sworn it was Mark Shorto with a cup of tea in the board room. Mark directed Burial at Thebes last year at Farringdon on which Sasha and Sofia did the costumes and make up. Sofia checked later and apparently it was Mark.
The weather is as it has been everyday in Hawaii totally wonderful, hot and with a bright blue sky sparkling off of a brighter blue sea.
Afterwards we walk to Borders and buy yet more books. We then walk down to the Ala Moana Mall and decide that tonight our last night in Hawaii we should all choose what we want from the food hall.
The food is obviously much cheaper than the numerous restaurants in town but everybody gets something they enjoy. The food Mall at Ala Moana actually has a very large and amazingly wide choice of food and some very healthy options.
Sabastian goes for a Cheeseburger and I go for a clam chowder and some rib eye steak with mash and corn. Sofia goes for a Hawaiin beef stew and Sasha for a Pad Thai.
We jump in a taxi and it’s back to the hotel to begin the big task of packing the bags.
We start looking at Sasha’s plan to go to a couple of concerts and find out that she has made things very complicated. She had no idea where they were, so we have to organise flights for her on the 21st July the day we will be driving to Vegas, she will fly to San Francisco to see No Doubt on the 21st and then fly back to Vegas for the 22nd to see Blink 182 on the 23rd.
It looks like paying for some internal flights is the cheapest and fastest option, I will look further into it when I have a decent web connection.
I also check out our Vegas options, the longer we hang on the cheaper the hotels are getting. Having been to Vegas on a few occasions we already know that a basic Vegas room is a step up from a half decent room in most other cities.
Tomorrow we fly to LA, and to be honest I am underwhelmed by the thought.
Sofia and I watched back to back Dog the Bounty Hunter as we packed.
We have loved you well Hawaii.
