Costa Classica
We eventually crawled out of bed around 1:30pm, today will be spent at sea.
We had missed lunch at the main restaurant (quizzes), so we went to the buffet restaurant, the food was good but the people we awful, so noisy and pushing. I have to say right here that this bunch of Italians are a rude bunch, queuing is not really something they get involved with, I mean why go to the trouble of queuing when you can just push in.
After lunch we went to the bar to play some cards and then we got roped into a quiz. Famous Actors and Actresses was the theme.
It was a farce with questions like who played Lancelot, who played Robin Hood, no notice of which film version, that bit was not included and therefore you have to wonder how Kevin Costner was the Correct answer to the Robin Hood question, even though that was called Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. (bitter me?).
The winning team got 8/10 to our hard won six, I’m not calling bullshit (OK maybe I am) but I am sure the same people have won all the quizzes on the cruise and yet all the questions have been equally dodgy.
We returned to the cabin and then later to hang out watch some TV news etc, then we went off to dinner which again was very good.
We then went for a tour of the ship, checking out the various bars before getting back into our ongoing game of kaluki.
Sofia returned to the cabin where I set her up on the laptop and then I headed up to the casino. That was a bad choice as within less than an hour I had lost my stake.
Tomorrow we hit Singapore and hope to meet up with our boys for lunch.
