The Gap Year Gang Get Down To Business As Normal

Encore and Wynn Stunning
Sofia and I had a big part of the day on our own as the girls were off shopping at the mall. So, we left them to it while agreeing to meet them at the House of Blues (HOB) over at Mandalay Bay for Alternative Tuesdays for music and food later on.
Soifa and I caught the shuttle to Bill’s and then walked up the strip , it was hot, very hot. We stopped off at Walgreens and got supplies. So Sofia and I wandered along the strip, did a bit of shopping at Walgreens and then walked on towards the MGM Grand, where we watched the world go by while we had a coffee and donuts.
After that we decided to hit the Excalibur for a bit more video poker, sadly the super efficient drinks hostess was not around today.
We then headed out to met the gang at the House of Blues.

While we waited for them I watched amazed as a crowd gathered who were going into the theatre to watch a concert, it must have been some ’gangsta’ type band as the crowd were mostly of the retarded dress sense variety, pants around ankles, way to much plastic gold, head scarfs, open shirts, tattoos.
I watched as one of the ‘gangstas’ was arguing with the bouncers, I think they were not letting him in because he did not have ID, but this retard tried to claim it was a racist thing because he was black, that was funny for a number of reasons.
Reason One, was at least 75% of the people being allowed in were black, the rest were either wiggers or the type of woman who likes to end up as a baby mama.
Reason Two, was the bouncer was also black.
I think reason three, might have been the reason, he was an obnoxious little shit and would not stop arguing even though the guys girl friend and friend were trying to shut him up.
Eventually there were other security staff called and he was still arguing what an ass.
We ate at the House of Blues, a band were playing, they were talented musicians but a little too Peter Frampton, in there own smugness at their own excellence on their instruments.
The HOB was also bloody cold, one of my pet peeves in Las Vegas is the incredible cold temperatures that everything inside seems to be. This had resulted in my buying a sweatshirt while in Vegas even though the outside temperature is well north of 100F.
The girls had also brought sweatshirts with them and we all sat there in them while eating some pretty good food.
It was too cold to just sit around, so once we had finished we hit the street and the evening heat, so, Vegas you think keeping it cold helps, because believe me if it’s too cold to sit around drinking it’s too cold to gamble.
The girls checked out details of the ‘Bodies’ exhibition at the Luxor which they intend to visit tomorrow. We have already seen it and it’s fascinating and very educational. We then all walked down the strip.
We had lost the girls on the way down the strip and they beat us back to the Gold Coast.
Sofia headed up to bed with a packet of cherry sours and a bottle of diet pepsi.
She read her book aparentlt right through the night until 8:00am when she finally finished it (A Dark Sacrifice by Madeline Howard) so, now she needs the next book in the series to come out.
He next book is already lined up – She Loves Me Not by Wendy Corsi Straub.
I on the other hand resumed my poker lessons and entertainment among the regulars and locals at the poker room.
I am getting known by some of the regulars and I am sure they appreciate my financial contribution.
